Since it's been a few years since we purchased our house, I hired Michael to do a home inspection, hoping he wouldn't find anything wrong with it. Fortunately he did find a few things, and one of them being very serious -- something that should have been caught years ago.

I'd recommend Michael to anyone who is buying a new home to do a pre-delivery inspection, or buying a resale home, and also to home owners for their peace of mind. If you're selling your home, it might be a good idea to do your own inspection so your can fix any problems before putting the house on the market, instead of leaving it to the buyer to discover them.

As a first time home buyer, Scott and I did not know much as to what needed to be done. We were unsure about a home inspection, and did not even know if we were going to have one done on the home we had placed an offer on.

We met with Mike and he explained to us the importance of a home inspection, and why it would be a good idea to have it done. He explained to us that even if the home is only a few years old, and may look perfect, there may be things that have gone unnoticed to the untrained eye. With out any hesitation, we scheduled a time to have Mike come out and do a home inspection. I was unable to be there but Scott was there with him.

Mike spent over two hours inspecting the home and bringing Scott around with him and explained every detail to the home. knowing that we were first time home buyers, he even showed Scott what we need to maintain and how it can be done. The experience was educating, and the best part was that we knew we could ask Mike any question, and he always answered in a way we would understood.

Even though I was not there, Mike did a follow-up with myself to make sure I knew everything about the home. Mike had made a information folder regarding every detail of the home to keep with us as well.

This was over all an amazing learning experience. Mike made it very relaxing and calming during a high anxiety time. In the future, when we purchase our next home, Mike will be there to do our inspection.
